If you get one of these, just keep in mind that they aren't NZ certified so use at your own risk..

  • how many watts is 800 lumens?

    • +1

      About 60W equivalent.

    • I got these ones last time https://www.cheapies.nz/node/7916, which are also 800 lumens and they are brighter than a 60 watt equivalent. Jay had a comment on that post that says the 800lumens is probably more like 80watts.

      • Have you have any that have burnt out?

        • No, they are all still going fine so far.

  • How many watts ist the bulb?

  • Where does it say that these are Orbit brand?

    • On the mobile version of the site at least at the top it says 'Orbit LED Bulbs 10pk'

    • In the page title and in big letters above the three types. Try searching on the page if you somehow can't see it.

  • Sorry it says right on top.

Same ones are $10 at mitre 10 and since theyre on sale there id assume they meet all the energy safety standards for NZ and have an sdoc cert etc etc

    cheers fella, have bought some.

  • Just got my bulbs today and they are not Orbit brand. Looks like they are "Elite" brand. Pretty cheap packaging as well. False advertising?

    • Oh really, does it have the specs on the box or somewhere else to also check the specs against what was advertised by 1-day?

      • This is what they look like http://imgur.com/a/baHGW
I guess the description matches with most the specs on 1-day except the brand and no mention of lumens.

        • The lumens should be 800 at least based on it being a 9w bulb which is usually associated with 800 lumens. If you wanted, you could contact 1-day and ask them about the branding, as you were expecting Orbit brand as advertised, and see what they say.

  • Received the bulbs but they are not Orbit, they are elite brand? Should I be concerned or contact them? What did others get?

    • Yeah starcub mentioned that above as well. You could always contact 1-day as it was a bit misleading and see what they say. But if they are the same specs hopefully they will be fine and just as good as Orbit ones.

  • Received my bulbs, not orbit bulbs. For $2 each thou they are bloody good bulbs thou.

  • Yeah they are not bad but misleading deal. Mightyape have these for $4.50 each.
