  I got one of these a few weeks ago. I actually haven't tested the speaker phone ability but the Bluetooth to fm transmitter works ago. Volume is a little low, the audio quality is not the best, but passable in a car. Good easy way to get phone into stereo if there's no other way.

    Yes, this one looks like the gen 1 version I have. I think the newer one had Bluetooth 4.1 out 4.2.

  Thanks I've ordered one, I read that you can change the frequency using the xiaomi android app (ie for japanese car stereo), and that it holds the frequency (ie doesn't go back to default frequency after power off).

  Can anyone confirm or dispute this?

  PS: The product was more expensive on the webpage, but once i went into paypal checkout it discounted it down to NZD $10.96 on the final page (prior to confirming pay ment)

      ideally id like to install app, change freq, uninstall app. use the device indefinitely at new freq. will this work?

  I couldn't get the app to load on my wife's phone, it said it was incompatible, so I just found an apk and loaded it manually. App seems to work ok. I can't tell if it hold on to its fm frequency as when I scanned it seemed to pick the default one anyway, which seems to work ok so I haven't bothered changing it. It also lets you change the led colour, although once we had 2 cable in there, I couldn't see the light anyway.
