are those TV's any good?
They are all midrange 4k tvs. They will support hdr but are not 10bit (ie true hdr panels). Prices seem ok, but do your research and check pricespy and the other shops before committing.
The Samsung is an entry level 4k TV but boy lg is a midrange 4k TV but with specs of flagship it has 10bit panel not just that also has local dimming with 200hz which means great HDR and also supports Dolby vision so you don't have to worry about which format will win the war HDR or Dolby vision. You probably could get the lg 1200 if you are buying cash Excellent deal not that it isn't great deal already.
Yeah, i was actually looking at the LG 55UH770T. When you google, a lot of stuff comes up for UH7700 but i dont quite understand if that is the same as the UH770T. Dammit LG with their stupid numbering systems.

Yes u can further discount if u know the right person some do some don't
That's the issue I have with buying a TV model like this one, it's likely only stocked exclusively by the likes of 100%, JB etc(not NL, HN etc who sell the same brand) and the retailers basically get to take turns raising and dropping their prices which may or may not actually be good value for money.
As for as value goes the lg 770t for $1377 is cheapest flagship like specs TV in nz . Yes if we compare to US or aus specials we are far from it. Apart from this TV there isn't anything special at all at super low prices .

Don't even bother for $1377 go for lg 770t u will be more happy money spend well as it has better picture engine 10 bit panel local dimming 200hz that's my expert advice up to u.

Im fairly confident Noel or Harvey will have a better deal on the low end model (last 3 years they have had the best deal, although 4 years ago JB had the best).
