Other option could be getting a phone from overseas with express delivery, but not everyone is open to that.
Found this model only has 2GB Ram which might be the deal breaker.
Went to check out the GR5 smartphone in store, called first to check store stock (9 units) ok sweet. Drive down to store only to find the phone is not on display. Ask to look at phone only to be told the lock is jammed on storage room and they can't get them.
So 9 units left in one store none on display and the can't even access them. I feel another price drop coming.
That's really unfortunate. Sounds like they don't want to sell them..
I got a car head unit off them a few years back took them ages to find it, they didn't even know they sold them but when I rang the same deal 2 units in stock none on display no one in store even knew they stocked them.
Picked up the GR5 for $289 seems like a good phone for the price.
Anyone got an opinion on the Huawei GR5 smartphone at that price. Need an android phone around that price stat.
