With all the talk about smartphones in one of yesterday's deals and also having a Vodafone mailer arrive in my mailbox yesterday, I have found a great deal on the new Vodafone Smart ultra 7.

The Vodafone Smart ultra 7 is $315 at PB Technologies. This is the lowest price ever according to PriceSpy.

This smartphone is usually $349 and it is being sold for that price at the moment by Vodafone, The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery and Noel Leeming.

Ultra-powerful
The Smart ultra 7 combines a powerful octa-core processor with the latest, most secure Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It also boasts a longer-lasting battery that charges in half the time thanks to Pump Express Plus technology. The result is a high-performance phone that just keeps going.

Ultra-sharp
The 5.5-inch IPS LCD screen gives you a crystal-clear experience in any environment. You can view movies, games and more in 1080p Full HD. And the ultra-strong Dragontrail glass can make cracked screens a thing of the past.

Ultra-you
Listen to your favourite music the way it was meant to be, with high-quality audio, powered by 2.4-watt speakers. And you can capture those epic moments with the 13-megapixel PDAF quickshot camera.

HD Voice
Provides crystal clear high definition calling without the background noise.

PXT Messaging
Send and receive picture messages (MMS) via your mobile.

STOP!! If you thought $315 was a good deal (and I agree, it is a good deal), you can Price Beat it by 5% at Warehouse Stationery. This would bring the price of the smartphone down to under $300 - $299.25.

This is also the same price as price matching at The Warehouse and using your Warehouse Money Visa Card for 5% off your purchase.

I don't know how long PB Technologies have this price valid for, so get in quick if you don't want to miss out on this great deal!

Enjoy :)

I've got the smart ultra 6, great value for specs. The ultra 6 has snapdragon 650, but the ultra 7 is mediatek I think?

    • Not that big of an upgrade to Ultra 7, thus will wait for now.

I got a smart ultra 6 just today! Its on clearance at warehouse stationery and it was going for $197. I asked whether they could do a better deal, looked through the computer and he said $150. Took it right away! Am a happy chap :D

      • And also! Where can i watch the badminton live tonight??

    • dang, wish i had bought another unit for myself.. bought one for the mrs

  • A pity it only has 16GB onboard, really needs 32 min these days. I know you can expand it, but my current samsung phone has killed several memory cards, as they seem to wear out.

Really? What brand were they? I'm using some microsd cards in some cameras as primary storage devices, and have had no issues at all, recording constantly.

      • Kingston, which I thought was a good brand. They were replaced due to lifetime warranty, but still a hassle. Possibly also the phone causing the failure, as it regularly crashes.

        • I wouldn't recommend lexar. Failed me multiple times. Strontium is pretty solid, although one failed out of 3 in less than a year. Haven't used Kingston in a long time but they should be solid too.

        • @bigbosssnake:

The 4 I'm using are Lexar, no issues. I guess it goes by batch really, they probably all come from the same facilities anyway.
