    Yep seems to be buy at any stage on Friday for $5 and it will run until 11:59pm Friday night.

    I had Fanpass up when they first came out, as their (right, but uncommon) use of the word 'midnight' was really confusing. I missed out on a coupon deal because it said midnight Sunday, which they considered to mean expired at 00:00 when Saturday finished and Sunday started, and not right at the end of the day Sunday night.

    Advertising as Midnight Friday can actually technically mean when Friday starts, not at the end of the day on Friday night, as most Kiwi's tend to consider it.

      I think it would be safe to assume this would expire 00:00 Saturday (i.e. Sat morning). Wouldn't quite make sense for them to advertise about watching Friday night sports if the pass expires at 00:00 on Friday (i.e. Fri morning).

      Just found this in the FAQ:

      So you can buy a pass anytime but it won't activate until Friday.

    Greg's referring to the Super Rugby. I'm pleased to going to the Hurricanes vs. Highlanders match tonight, kick off 7.35pm. Following that on SKY Sport 1 will be the Waratahs vs. Chiefs. On SKY Sport 2, the NRL is on - Broncos vs. Wests Tigers at 10pm. Hopefully, something for everyone!

    Stupid thing is, if this was their normal daily price, they'd likely get a huge amount more subscribers. You could pick 4 or 5 days a month with content you want to watch, and save 2 - 3+ times the price of a Sky TV subscription.
