  • If the Hero 4 is excluded I don't see why these are included, probably an error?

    • +1

no comments of cancelled orders in the OzBargain deal thread, might be legit :O

    • Mmm, maybe they might be clearing their lower range GoPros? I don't think it's a price error as previous coupon code also worked on GoPro Hero as evident on this OzBargain Post on the 18th May

  • Nice prices, already got a Xiaomi Yi cam, so will stick to that for now.

    • Hows the Xiaomi Yi cam? I've heard version 2 is out already!

Version two has me quite wiggly with excitement.

        Man points = 0

Any how, it's essentially a Hero 4 Black Edition for $375 NZD

Very very interested as it also include gyro sensors to provide electronic stabilisation, - where it records at 4k, and then has wiggle room to move the image around and produce a stabilised Full HD 1080P image in the middle.

Touchscreen too. All so very good.

        • Sounds interesting. How much would v2 cost?

        • @coolstorybro:

          Dude, read above…

          $250 USD

@Jaxson: Oh sorry, skim read it and assumed that it was the price for Hero 4 lol.

Got the first one as a review product, but had some serious issues with the firmware and functionality. Didn't review it, due to these reasons (assumed it was a faulty unit) but kept playing around with it and eventually managed to get it working correctly after a month of so on and off. Still not sure what the original issues were. Got a bunch of accessories with it as well, and it works good, especially with the extended battery, can record for a number of hours. My biggest issue with having a 3rd party housing is that it builds up a bit of condensation around the lens, and starts to impair the recording after a while, maybe that was just because we were at the lake. Quality is good, and the app works well, so no real complaints about it, but if you want a cheap 'action cam' there are plenty of options around the $50 USD mark, just don't expect the world at that price point. Good to test though, I was tempted to purchase a Go Pro from this deal, but decided that for the cost, I'll just stick with my Yi cam, it does a good enough job.

        • Yep, this second one does look dramatically different though. Will be interesting to see how the quality control stacks up etc.

In case anyone is wondering what the differences are between these two:

    Expired apparently :'(

    • Looks fine to me.

      • The COOL35 code is showing as expired for me… strange

        • Oh ok, I was using the COOL40, just grab a few other items at the same time.

      • Just tried it myself, my the GoPro's price is still the same the the COOL35 code says:

OH NO! THAT PROMO CODE HAS EXPIRED

        • Check my comment above mate.

you could also try sending them a question via ebay and ask if they will do free nz shipping for that auction like they do on their site

I think coupon code is expired and replaced with a generic 25% off sales item. Use "getmy25" for 25% off. so prices are $192.65 NZD for Hero+ and $132.44 NZD for Hero

Just like to inform all of ya, avoid these entry levels hero and hero + gopros. The camera can not be taken out as a whole as it's integrated/screwed into the waterproof casing. I never knew not after I got one for myself. You run into the risk of breaking the casing, especially the mounting area and water proof capabilities and not being able to find replacements! Be warned.
