      Just keep in mind that often with these coupon deals there are a lot of first time users who join, but are not necessarily familiar with the mechanics of voting etc.

        Pretty sure they do just have to scan but most staff members don't recognise the coupon and want to be sure that it is valid and find out where to scan and how to apply the discount, it can sometimes take a while when one person goes to find another senior staff member.
