Also no CGA protection from the retailer. It would have to be in the $500's before I would consider buying it from there.
The CGA lets you seek remedy from the retailer or manufacturer(or importer if its not produced here). The customer can choose who to deal with, neither can pass you off to the other unless you let them.
So if it's not a parallel import(it's not) then Samsung NZ must meet their CGA obligations here.
Samsung have a very good warranty programme too.
Sister had a s3 from The Warehouse (when purchased it said 1 year warranty).
According to the website they should have 2 years.

Yeah I can only saw good things about them too, replaced a 32 inch TV of ours six months out of warranty no questions asked and no CGA arguments on how long a TV should last.
Apparently though you don't get as much protection when dealing with the manufacturer, as their obligations are different. More details at http://www.consumerprotection.govt.nz/for-consumers/law/cons… . So you are usually always better to deal with the retailer.
@rkl: CGA should give better protection than the warranty. I would expect an expensive phone to last beyond the manufacturers warranty period anyway.
I bought a s6 edge 32gb for $839 from dse last week, Samsung should honour the CGA protection.

I have updated the Dick Smith Reciever's Sale discounts in the forum. There is no change on Mobile Phones however.
IIRC the green S6 costs a bit more than the normal black/white S6
Not quite as nice as the $649 at Noel Leeming last Boxing Day, but still a good deal. ☺
