After coming across a post on a Solar NZ group on FB. I have been investigating switching over to EcoSmart.
Of course the current spot prices look pretty amazing when not in peak but wanted to hear on people first hand experience or any gotcha's with this model.

The spot price when its at a peak?
However, if you have sufficient storage, I guess you can mitigate that risk somewhat.
