Our friends at OzBargain have been eating good with 3 months of free Uber One.

Thankfully we can tuck in too - Just open your Uber Eats and set the delivery address to an Australian location like the Sydney Opera House then open up the below link and you're sorted. You can change your delivery address back to this side of the ditch afterwards.

Worked for me on mobile but haven't tried on PC. Enjoy!

Note: This now includes free delivery where previously it was only access to deals! The 5% credit for uber rides does not work though. Apologies if the above link is a referral one I just pulled it from OzBargain - Can someone smarter than me find the proper one if that is the case. Thanks!

Is the free delivery applicable to NZ?

Mine is running out in a couple of days on my secondary account and I got it for 1 year today for $17 through their cancellation menu. I am happy with that, as I got it at the start of the year for 1 year on my main account for $1. And they gave me $10 credit with that, which they tried to weasel out of, but I managed to get a manager to approve with the screenshot proof I had that they'd offered that to me, which the first couple of India based chat agents were trying to deny till I cited our consumer laws at them LOL.

Mine is renewing for 1 year at $18 tomorrow. Decided to do that rather than 3 months free as I have gotten incredible value from it over the last 6 months free that I got, and don't want to risk not getting a discount once the 3 months is over

Can I use my Uber One deal to get discounted cheap movie tickets for Hoyts? And where do I find the link for this offer?

Yes, in the Uber app, tap the options menu icon in the bottom right, select 'Uber One,' and look for it under 'From partners.' From there, once you 'claim offer' it will go to Hoyts website inside the app, log in, and choose your tickets as usual. The top option will be labelled 'Uber One Ticket,' priced at $12 for a standard session, with discounts on higher-priced tickets. For example, Xtreme Screen tickets are $16.50, which is much cheaper than the standard rewards member rate. A $1.80 booking fee per ticket applies on top.

It doesn't seem to believe that I am in Australia when I set my delivery address… I get "That offer is only valid in select locations". I tried turning off location services and mobile data and it still doesn't work. Anyone have any tips?

Make sure you don't completely close the Uber app, as that might cause it to default back to a saved address, just set new address, switch to the web browser to click link whilst Uber is still open and background.

It still wasn't working in the app so I logged in using the browser and opened another tab to paste that link and that worked. No idea why the app was determined to keep me in NZ. But thank you for the help!

Looks like if you sign up to the Australian deal it only lets you choose Australian theatres for the discounted movie tickets
