Genuine question, ignoring the fact I rarely use hand tools anymore and do 99% of my driving via an impact driver, wrench, drill or two electric screwdrivers (one like 0.3-0.5nm with 4mm bits, the other like 0.5-5nm with 6mm bits), what makes an expensive screwdriver better than a plain jane one?
At $24-30, it just looks like a normal screwdriver set price, so what makes these worth buying aside from the idea of savings vs RRP?
The steel, Screwdrivers usually the steel and the machining; nothing is worse than a screwdriver that does not fit properly. Kincrome used to be a good Australian brand, but as with most manufacturers, they outsource to China, but still seem to get pretty good reviews. I have a few and would say they were probably medium quality.
