Uber One members can score a ticket to an exclusive opening night screening of Spider-Man: Brand New Day at participating HOYTS cinemas across New Zealand.

Each valid Special Event ticket includes:

• One standard ticket to a 6:30pm (local time) session of Spider-Man: Brand New Day on opening day
• One limited-edition Spider-Man popcorn head, filled with popcorn
• Free popcorn refills on the day of the screening*

Event Details:

• Date: Thursday 30 July 2026
• Session time: 6:30pm local time
• Recommended arrival: From 6:00pm to collect your popcorn head

There is only one eligible Uber One Special Event Screening at each participating HOYTS cinema.

To claim the Offer, Eligible Customers must:

• Log in via their Uber/Uber Eats account to validate their Uber One membership;
• Follow the link to the Spider-Man: Brand New Day Opening Day Uber One Special Event screenings offer ticketing page;
• Select the relevant 6:30pm local time session marked “Special Event” and, on the ticket selection page, select the applicable “Uber One Special Event” ticket before completing their purchase online; and
• Present their digital movie ticket at the cinema.

    Yeah I'm not see any in of the 3 cinemas in Christchurch, wonder if they've sold out already or whether they forgot to label that session correctly. Edit ok had a further look there are none for any of the cinemas NZ wide

      Ok I just rung them. They have to be booked in person as they have to see proof of your memebership. At least at the Christchurch cinemas it was valid for any 630pm 30th session other than the LUX sessions, so regular or xtremescreen in my case. They didn't have the tag of special event. And there seems to be more sessions than they're actually showing online.

      Oh I don't have an Uber one account so I couldn't do the method as shown on the link. However I noticed on the webpage link it's only show up till the 27th but on the app it will show past the 30th

  Best way to book this is going on uber eats page, then through your Uber One, Hoyts and then it should open the Hoyts page with Uber One tagged on the top, chose movies and upcoming, and you will see the session for the 30th july.

  I wonder if they'll require proof of membership on the day, because I'm able to purchase a ticket without Uber One membership…
