  • @beatthatflight - how many flights do you generally have to make to make the cost worth it though?

    • It entirely depends on how much you could save per flight. I've done this previously, booked a return trip Auckland/Queenstown for a family of 4, and made back the $50 within 1 trip.

As an example you could save say, $15 per person, save another $5 per person for luggage? that's more than $50 already.

The membership also gives discounts on travel insurance and car hire, but I do that separately.

    • Saved me around $16 bucks for a return trip one person no luggage.

    • I bought the memberhsip last year when booking a trip to the Gold Coast for my family of 4, the instant savings were more than the membership cost. Bit tricky to work out when buying on special unless you have plans to use Jetstar a few times already.

    • yeah as others have said, depends on number of tickets and distance and specials. But if you're a family, good odds you'll make it back on the first trip.

  • It was $45 last year.

  • If I travel at least twice a year with my wife, once nationally and once internationally, the membership is well worth it. Sometimes, a trip to Queenstown is enough to offset the cost with bags and a good seat.
