  • Targeted. Not on my card (gold).. I thin from previous BP deals it can matter if you did or didn't spend with them in the past like 6-12 months. Just sharing in case someone else feels alone 😅

    • I’m glad it’s not just me! Not appearing either 😭

    • Interesting.. I haven’t spent with BP since last year’s promo on some of my cards and they’ve got this offer appearing.

    • i have both gold and airpoints but its only there for the airpoints card.. could either just be on airpoints cards only or as you said, i havent used the airpoints at BP for some time so maybe thats the reason

  • nice, got offer, member since June 2026, Airpoints card.

  • So uhmm.. silly question. If you've got like a hatchback that doesn't cost up to $100, should I buy a gas can to get the remaining gas? I'm just not sure if I can do this now with the Iran wars and oil prices.

I guess that, if you are up to anything over $85, then it would be financially worth poring it down the drain to get to $100 and taking the $15 discount?

If your conscience can handle it.

And if you don't get arrested for endangering life and limb :-)

Or perhaps call the car behind forward, and offer them up to $15 of free fuel!

      • Do you have a lawn mower ?

        • Do you have a lawn mower ?

I do, but no idea why you are asking me that?

    • You can try buying mta vouchers from BP, they usually have a range of 10, 20, 50, 100, so u can get a total of 100 that way and use accordingly, top us the difference with cash or card. Worked for me last time when they had a promotion.

    • I'm in the same boat. Buy a $100 BP gift card and get $15 off.

    • Are you really not sure whether you can use a gas can to put the remaining petrol because of the war in Iran? How do think people fill up their petrol lawnmowers then?

  • sweet thanks, i have 2 cards and its there on one of them.. that is the one i dont use much

  • Have airpoints platinum and supplementary card, don't have the fuel discount…

  • NPD doesn't take amex do they? Maybe it's just my location :<

    • My local one takes it but not listed as accepted as a payment method just tried one day. I recall trying to use AMEX at taupo NPD one day and no go but might have just been new station and not set up yet. Give it a go even if it isnt listed.

    • NPD Nelson and Richmond accept Amex fine.

    • I was sure the ones in Dunedin didn't, I've been rejected a few times. I see 2 are on the list, hopefully a recent change, I'll try them again.

  • Are they for all of your cards or only the principal card? Can't see any in my main card.

    • I found them on all 12 of my cards, main and supplementary.

      • 12!?

        • 12!?

Many businesses will easily have that many cards.

Alternatively, perhaps @simch is a Fringe Mormon :-)

          • @Alan6984: Haha my workplace has 500+ staff and we have only one credit card

            • @nevergofullretail:

Haha my workplace has 500+ staff and we have only one credit card

Well that nails it, no business can possibly have more than one card if yours doesn't :-)

        • lol I have 4 principal accounts and a mix of supplementary cards under each.

          • @simch: I have 4 cards. Time to purge me thinks, only reason I kept them was due to no fees but crap rewards like Westpac hotpoints
I will just keep ASB and maybe AMex plat air points cards
