This is a fantastic device for turning off and on your lamps via voice. I have 3 of these already and by using the AMazon Alexa I can simply say out loud 'turn off lounge light' and it will send a message to this wemo switch. You can use it for anything that requires power, remember use

Bought 4 sets (switch + sensor) from HN back in November for $43 each. I'm using them with Amazon Echo too. When they work they are good. But… I returned two sets because of a hardware fault. Also, they are PITA to set up, and from time to time drop their WIFI connection. No matter how many WiFi working devices you already have if these do not like your main channel they won't connect at all.
I had read some negative reviews about these too, so a bit pricey for something that may not be that reliable. They had them really cheap when disck smiths were having their big sell off, but I went for the led bulbs instead as they do they are supposed to be a lot more reliable.
Just to amend this - it's 53 including the WELCOME5 coupon, 58 without. Still the lowest PriceSpy price seen yet, this is a good bargain. I own multiple WeMo devices and they're very handy.
