NordVPN: 120% Cashback on Basic Plan for New NordVPN Customers ($120 Cap, 10th June Only) @ ShopBack

120

It is finally back after a long time! Earn some moolah while getting a free VPN subscription!

Update: unfortunately this is capped at $120, so only the 1 year plan is worth it.

NordVPN: 120% Cashback (valid for new NordVPN customers on ShopBack) - 10 June

TIPS:

  • Based on the TnC, only the basic plan is eligible for the full cashback. If you want the extras, search for Nordpass in ShopBack (95% Cashback until 11 June) and make a seperate purchase there.

  • Thanks to @Chops NZ's tip here make sure you use US address so that you don't have to pay for GST. (Meaning you get exactly 120% back for what you paid for, taking currency discrepancies into account - as you will pay in USD while getting NZD in cashback)

  • As usual, disable VPN or Private DNS before proceeding in ShopBack.

  • I always take screenrecordings of my purchase journey so that I have proof in case ShopBack doesn't track cashback properly.

  • Perfect, it's coming up on 2 years since I last claimed the 110% cashback deal๐Ÿคž

    • I have 5 months left, gonna pull the trigger anyway. The last 120% cb was in Feb 2025. ๐ŸŽ‰

      • I got the same deal and gonna get this one. Don't know if we will see similar deals next year.

        • What's the plan to get around new users only? New Shopback account?

  • Just a heads up, "valid for new NordVPN customers on ShopBack" means you need a new Nordvpn account along with a new Shopback account if you have claimed it in the past.

    • Are you sure you need a new shopback account? Pretty sure I've claimed nord twice before but mines run out so was intending to set up another new account using this.

      • That's what they required for Temu's new-user cashback deals. You can try using an existing Shopback account. But it will certainly be at risk as Shopback has the final say.

        • Temu hasnt required a new shopback account for the 'new user only' cashbacks

          • @Rowjo: I tried but failed to receive the Temu new user cashback. See below the comments from the Shopback store rep:

"Hey there! Thanks for reaching out about TEMU Cashback and new accounts.

Here's the thing: even if you make a new TEMU account, it might still be linked to your ShopBack account. This means the store might see you as an existing customer, which could affect your Cashback eligibility.

Stores have the final say on Cashback and who qualifies, so their rules apply."

It's fine if you accept the risk. Otherwise, create two new accounts.

  • Will this work on 2 yr plan as long as itโ€™s basic?

    • Yes it will as per past experience. Unless any capped amount is mentioned. Won't know until tomorrow.

  • The website shows and offers two options, Basic and Complete, can anyone please confirm both are eligible for cashback?
    I am a bit confused

  • ShopBack also have 95% off the 12 & 24 month plans of NordPass for the next 24hrs

  • You will be paying around ~$145 nzd, but with $120 cap it is not free anymore. It will still cost around $25.

    • The 95% Cashback is showing $135.8 NZD, better than the $120 cap.

    • The 1 year plan is the way to go.

      • Still lose about 8$ - after the 20% extra. Or does the 20% extra not count?

    • wow does the exchange rate make $65.88 USD bill at NZ$140.61?

      • I think you selected 1 year plan. I was talking about 2 years. Also the price has gone up compared to morning.

It was US$83.43 for 2 years.

    • But in saying that a 2 year quality VPN Subscription for $25 that usually costs $145 is pretty good right?

      • Not really as it was 100% uncapped till yesterday and you can still get 95% uncapped which will still be better than this deal if you want it today.

        • It looks like the 95% is for Nordpass though which looks like a password manager?

  • Were the 100% cashback deals uncapped?

    • I believe it was. So even after taxes, overall it would be been better

    • yep, uncapped, I used the one a few days ago, cashback $134.41
I paid $140.61, but you lose a bit due to exchange rates.

      • did $65.88 USD bill you at NZ$140.61?

  • I'm new to this cashback scheme… can someone please confirm if i chose the correct one?

As per the t&c, its valid for standard plan only.
So i chose the basic plan and its showing 83.43 for 2 years.

    • Choose the 1 year plan for maximum cashback. Since there is a capped of $120 NZD.

    • Also that 83.43 is in USD, so you would be paying around $145. So better to stay below the cap of $120.

    • Oh its in USD.
Thanks heaps guys. Have a great day.

  • SurfShark are doing 100% off and uncapped by the look of it, would that be a better deal than Nord?? My previous post was deleted because it contained the link, so I won't post it here. It's on Shopback as well.

    • Thanks, got the 24 month sub on Surfshark!

      • Same - I got the 24month but it was 95% off not 100% :(
Also I wonder if I messed up by paying by PayPal and not credit card - anyone know?
Purchased through chrome website mac os and still had the Shopback extension on "Green" which sa;ys was tracking but unsure if Paypal messes things up.

  • Can you buy 1 month? I'm trying to find the best way to stream the fifa World Cup, and it looks like SBS australia will be streaming all games.
