  • Hi, just a heads up. When you post deals in the future, please select [I Am associated with NZCryptoCon] In the drop-down box, as opposed to Lüp Events. thanks

What's that in Bitcoin, or do the organisers not accept crypto as a valid form of payment?

    • They didn't accept crypto last time this was posted, I assume they still don't accept crypto.

I guess they must not believe in the technology enough to take it as a payment method.

The tickets are sold via a 3rd party platform. That's generally how small scale events work. So they have no control over what payment methods are available. Thinking do be hard though.

        • I don't remember ticketing systems operating on a round robin system where you get assigned the platform you have to use.

There are no shortage of blockchain and NFT based ticketing systems, and standard systems taking crypto.

They could have chosen a different one, they didn't, they chose the one that doesn't accept crypto.

    • The organisers are not the ones selling tickets, it's through a 3rd party platform, so they don't have control over what payment options are available.
