IMHO, most of these health supplements are just overpriced placebo effects. Some of them are produced with fish waste and unsold/expired fish from the retailers like supermarkets, in the name of reducing food waste :D
Lots of studies on the benefits, but not all fish oils are equal. I like that this is higher dose without fishy taste or smell, at the right price.
Supplements in general can be controversial and mixed results. But Omega 3 does have decent evidence the last time I checked, benefits mainly for brain and heart health, some around cognition/"mental" health. I like buying algae oil because there's less mercury/heavy metal exposure, and probably a little more environmentally friendly and ethical.

As far as I know there's no conclusive evidence for benefits on brain health and possibly no longer even for heart health, I say this as someone who takes it, this specific brand and dose, for brain health anyway.
AFAIK the only supplements with good evidence are magnesium (for sleep but varies by user), zinc (common deficiency in men), iron (very common deficiency in women), and creatine (proven benefits for certain exercises, no proven brain benefit).
Otherwise it's basically just take whatever you have deficiencies in which is hard to know without blood tests. With a varied diet and enough veges you're probably fine on most vitamins though. I take magnesium and fish oil, I eat heaps of meat and dairy so not worried about zinc, and I'm not worried about creatine benefits though I have considered it when I sporadically get really into lifting.
If your regularly eat fish like you mention, then the likelihood of fish oil providing you further benefit is probably slim. For someone who rarely or never eats it there might be a stronger case there.
I bought this one instead which seems also a pretty good deal too https://www.chemistwarehouse.co.nz/buy/114057/go-healthy-fis…
I buy Sanderson Magnesium and it’s great. I go to Bargain Chemist to price beat Chemist Warehouse when they have a sale and stock up.

Thank you OP.
Just about to reorder from iherb.com (30% May discount) but would rather support a local company.
Oddly, they do not sell Potassium and I highly recommend Tocotrienols (credit to Eric Berg) for heart health and stroke prevention.
Fellow cheapies, just found out the chewable vitamin C contains Sucralose - not advertised on packaging.
Buyer beware.
Does this stuff work in general?. i havent taken fish oil in years but have fish weekly instead.
