    Don't recommend that power adapter, it's actually a Chinese plug, not NZ so it's incredibly loose and slips out too easily, can't even hold itself in a wall socket. Being a Chinese plug, it doesn't even have insulated prongs so quite dangerous, especially for an NZ socket orientation and not legal.

      It should be one of the standard size for the pin.
      Also just use a travel adapter for the plug or get a NZ plug one from AliExpress.
      It shouldn’t be that dangerous power wise in my opinion as it is quite low voltage &amps. Plus you plug it in while you’re using it, not leaving it plugged in like any other charger.

  The margin is due to the space between the cutter and the printer so by default it pushes it out to be symmetrical. As others have said, aliexpress is about $5 per 8 metres of tape.
