The updated PS5 RRPs seem to be as follows as seen at JB and NL:
PS5 Digital Edition - $859.95 $1099 (+28%)
PS5 Disc Edition - $949.95 $1199 (+26%)
PS5 Pro - $1379 $1619 (+17%)

Mighty Ape consoles are currently cheaper than the previous RRPs from 14/4/25:

PS5 Disc Edition - $877:
Extra $10 off with primate

The Warehouse still has PS5 Pro at $1379 in-store only (out of stock at many stores)

  Good God, it's turning into a rich man's sport. How much are they going to cost when the new consoles using the latest and greatest technology releases when a base PS5 that's using RDNA 2 architecture from 2020 is now retailing for $1200 instore? Unless AI eats itself in the next 12 months next gen base consoles are going to be up around $1500 I reckon, and I think that price is me being optimistic.

  No real benefit to a PS5 pro.. I question even why I have a PS5 slim over a PS4.. only bought one because of Spiderman 2 :/

  Never done it before but buying early in a console generation seems to be the way to go now. Remember when they used to get cheaper post launch not go up in price. I can't see the switch 2 staying $800 at this rate.

  No idea if it's a hobby I can sustain when the next gen arrives. I was considering a jump to PC but at memory and storage prices now that's less affordable than ever. Even spin ing hard drives have shit up in price now.

      Not for me, I've been boycotting Japanese consoles for a long time and it's just not only Sony…Nintendo also hold grudges. Just so people are aware.
      And since these corporations think buying != owning so hence piracy != stealing

        I got banned for playing online with a jailbroken ps3 when it 1st came out. Thought it was just the console, but its also the account, but it goes further, if i sign into a sony device the device gets banned, and if i sign in on a computer the ip addy gets banned and no1 in the house can access sony network sites (their accounts dont get banned tho, just the ip addy)
