  • Has this worked for anyone - says promo claimed but doesn’t reduce money at checkout

    • Worked for me just now at FreshChoice in Hamilton.

$70ish spend down to $46 delivered ($1.49 del. fee + $5.99 service fee).

Is Afterpay selected as payment method and items total = $70? If yes to both, perhaps it's not a participating merchant.

FYI Always select refund me for the options if item isn't available,
otherwise changes to items means the promo price or promo doesn't get applied causing you to have to deal with Uber Support to get money/credit back

    • Yep been stung with this in the past too

    • Is that Replace only with my approval (if you don't reply, we'll refund you) or Don't replace?

      • +1

        Don't replace

        • Thanks, will edit my order now.

          • @Wakrak: Not sure about the other one, I haven't had it where it needed to happen.

I choose dont replace. The discount isn't proportional either so if you ordered $70 but they had to refund $35 then the remaining order would only be $5 + delivery and bf after the $30 discount.

        • Yup this is why its great when Uberone does like $20 of $40 spend on groceries, it often works out way cheaper than supermarket delivered and you get refunded on the price of the item rather than after $20 discount price

        Do not redeem!!!

    • Yep, ordered an item that was a part of the $10 uber deals, got replaced with another variant not on sale. Talking with support about these issues is a nightmare, and it really is just a gamble with the rep you get with your ticket and how nice they're feeling that day. Had to make a second ticket as the first rep didn't want to issue any compensation.

  • Good deal, excluding any delivery and service fees it's around a 43% discount. If you grab items that are already on special in the app it works out to be quite a lot cheaper than going down to the supermarket. I grabbed some 10 packs of Indomie noodles which worked out to $4.83ea after the discount along with some 1kg blocks of Countdown everyday cheese for $8.14

You can use this on multiple accounts also connect disconnect Afterpay

    • I did that and now there is no option to remove Afterpay from my secondary account. Have you encountered that?

      • Nope but after a couple orders it wouldn’t let me attach the Afterpay again

        • I guess I am going to need to contact Afterpay to get them to remove it from Uber on their backend.

  • cheers worked all good! managed to stack the $10 off $40+ with the afterpay promo. got meat and butter

    • How'd you manage to get it to stack? For me everytime I add one it removes the other.

      • hi, they mightve fixed it by now. but i put the items for the $10 off $40+ promo first before adding other items

        • there is the $10 off $40+ fresh choice store discounts (frozen foods, and meats), so they automatically price adjust the total, and then the $30 off $70+ is the uber afterpay discount you apply, so they stack ok. I managed to get 6 Pizzas, a bag of lollies and a drink for $11.70 delivered! (as uber refunded my 30 pack of coke at full price)

  • Any pros or cons for using AfterPay for a first time user ?

Just remembered to use this 30 minutes before freshchoice closed. Was able to stack with $10 off $40 on some frozen goods. They weren't able to supply some items though so in the end got ~$47 worth of groceries for $16 delivered ($9 of that being the delivery and service fee). Instore supermarket pricing wouldve been about $35.

  • lols got 26 cans of sealord tuna + 6 cans of tomatoes for $39.

The tuna was $1.87 each for the 95g tins instead of $3+, so ended up being cheaper than going to the supermarket.

  • Any chance anyone had the $30 off $40 grocery order promo which was a uber one deal? I need a screenshot of it please. I had a $3 order result as $40
