  • The Ninja Luxe is a better machine at the same price. James Hoffman's made quite a good review on it. It's great if you just want a good espresso or latte without having to learn a whole bunch of barista skills.

It does sound good and is definitely an alternative but even Hoffamn's review doesn't make it out to be better.

It seems like which is better would definitely come down to opinion and use case. If you enjoy cold brews, the Ninja Luxe looks like a clear winner, but other than that, when you get the Breville you're still getting a better and more consistent build quality - a lot of the concerns/complaints online look like they might primarily come from the machine having a fault/difference, or needing a lot of dialing in to find good settings.

If you prefer more control and consistency over your coffee it sounds like the Breville is probably still the winner, and will probably have a longer lifespan too.

Well said. I have one of these and have had ZERO issues.

Haven't really looked into the Ninja Luxe, but having had an espresso machine for several years now - my understanding is that there are consumable parts (e.g. o-rings) that would eventually wear out and need to be replaced. So I would weigh Hoffman's concluding disclaimers about replacement parts for Ninja heavily.

Breville has a really well established replacement parts market and their machines are known to be very repairable, and good for people who like tinkering/modding their machines.

  • Has Broscoes stock magically disappeared because of this deal?
