    Site says Switch 2 are half price and in stock in all stores in Auckland. Anyone been in store to confirm if this is correct ?

        was the mariokart world console bundle. just checked and its not there now and also seem to have taken some switch 2 games off that were on there for half price.

          Some games flashed up and are gone again. Bravely default reappeared for some reason and has now been delisted again.

    I would say most people that bought online will either, not get their items and get a refund in 2 months, or have to fight for a refund.

      I used Klarna for that reason. I can easily do a dispute then.

      There’s a cancel order button, so if you believe you aren’t going to receive your order and haven’t heard from EB Games then as long as you cancel you order before the 31st you’ll receive a refund.

      My orders still showing as received and not processed and it was placed this morning at 7:30am so I’ll give it a few days and fingers crossed they start

      I've requested a return and refund for something I bought in store that's not as advertised so interested to see how that goes. Appreciate "all sales are final" but missdvertising is still missdvertising even in a closing down sale, I would not have purchased the goods knowing it doesn't work how it states on the box. The auto reply and website pretty much offers no assurances at all on purchasing from them now.

        The queue at Hornby was short so took the thing back and the guy knew the exact problem and that if was a caused several months ago, so there was no discussion and issued the refund. They then sharpied out the false advertising reviving the 2 in switch 2 on the packaging to resell it as a switch 1 accessory that does work. Anyone tempted by the atrix multi port adapter for switch 2, don't bother, it doesn't work.

    I went to the st lukes branch today, and they still had a queuing system in place, i asked "why when there is literally a handful on stock left". thier reply "only 2 staff working in the store and they dont want it over crowded at the checkout, maybe next week we wont need it"
    There was only a shelf of funkopops and shirts and cups left, literally nothing left to buy.

    I went the to Silverdale one - and they had hardware out for sale - lots of headsets , some Xbox controllers , I did forget to ask if 50% off , but got the feeling they might be. Also found new PS5 games going for 50% off.

    Hello, i saw a poster saying the shop - in botany downs- will be closed for 20th then reopen for 21st. I missed the online deals for the first day. have any one been there recently? Wondering if there are anything worth the visit left

      I went to the new market one today, they had a bit of stock left, merchandise, clothes,bags and some ps5,switch 2 games, xbox controller batteries, hdmi cables and eyetoy for ps2.
      As i got there the staff were loading the posters and shelving into a van.

    I just got an email from them saying that an item from your order has been cancelled and will be refunded…..

      Yup. Two of my three items were removed. I am going to cancel the final one too because not paying $16 for a single bloody game.

      No email for me… But order still sits as received and not processed yet. Delivery est 24th January and I’m not sure if it’s a legitimate estimate.
