  • Any to Taiwan start of June?

  • What's the best/cheapest way to fly out from Wellington instead of Auckland?

    • +1

Buy a return ticket to Auckland, and then the return ticket from AKL. Unfortunately, Auckland does tend to get most of the big flights for the prices. Apart from some Aussie destinations where Hamilton and Welly beat it at times :)

      • Thanks! I did think of the return flight, but have some anxiety of the domestic flight being cancelled or delayed and then not being covered because it was a separate ticket.

Any tips of getting around this? Appreciate your work!

Alas, no :/ And given my relatives on Sunday trying to get from CHC to WLG, got diverted to Napier, and then had to bus down to Wellington, things happen….

You could fly up the day before, or look into transfercar as a cost effective way of getting up there (often $1 - I've used them to get from Queenstown to Chch twice now)

  • Looking at a trip to China and Malaysia. Is it usually cheaper to look at multi-city or individual one-way flights?

To Aus - one way flights. To Asia, almost always multi city, or say, AKL to KL return, and then KL to Chinese-city return.
