I am looking for a good external hard drive with more than 10 TB of capacity. The only option I can see locally is PB Tech, which has the Seagate Expansion 20 TB Desktop External HDD for $799.00. However, Amazon is selling it for around $500. Is it okay to buy from Amazon, or does anyone know a better place where I can get authentic drives?
Looking for external Hard drive 10TB-20TB

Good luck, prices have gone up a lot.
I have previously bought off eBay, Amazon, & east-digital. On the hunt for more though - a couple 10s and another 16.
Amazon has the worst packaging, so I would be wary of it.

I have used serverpartdeals.com
They were Manufacturer Recertified, arrived with only a few hours on them and have been working 24/7 since

I just had a quick browse. I'm not sure how good the pricing was, but for one drive it was $350 for postage and taxes!

They are well respected and have good warranty. Check out old comments on here & Ozbargain. Drives are nicely packaged as well with multiple protection. If you don't mind refurbished/recertified, they have best pricing.

Look at Bhphotovideo as well. I have bought couple of them. Prices are pretty high this year but depends on how much you need it.

I've brought an external drive and an internal drive from b and h and have had no issues with either. A bit riskier than buying local.

The best thing I ever got on cheapies was a $450 nas for $90.
Filled it with old drives (probably not the best idea) and it’s wonderful.

I'm still annoyed I missed that one. I'm still keep looking at replacing my old PC based nas with an actual unit and that terramaster deal was a no brainer that I saw 5 minutes too late.

keep an eye on ozbargain they post often amazon au HDD deals you can take advantage of.
I got a 28tb from this deal

looks like the pricing is still very similar (for the 28tb)
