  • I'm trying to checkout at freshchoice but afterpay isn't an option to pay. I've checked my wallet and I have afterpay linked in there. Anyone else able to use this promo?

    • It works for me. I added the promo code through Profile -> Promotions first, then when I go to check out at Freshchoice, I can change the payment method to Afterpay, which then adds a $20 discount

      • Ah my problem was i accidentally went into the uber app rather than the uber eats app.

  • +1

This looked good on paper, until I saw the service fee - ridiculously high at my local Freshchoice. After fees I'm not even saving anything really besides free delivery.

The worst part is that the Uber One changes haven't even taken place yet! Don't think I'll be renewing.

I found this too - after the 'discount' the overall price was really about what it should have been in the first place.

Completely pointless, except to highlight just what poor value Uber Eats is.

You're far better off getting a delivery from Woolworths or New World.

      • You can make it work to your advantage if you buy items on special. I ran some 40% off items through Grocer and they were cheaper than any supermarket.

        • Yeah, same here. I only get items on special and schedule the delivery to get extra $1.5 discount.

I did the same, and came to the conclusion that when I added in the fees etc, the pricing was pretty much the same as me buying from PNS?

Maybe I was just 'unlucky' in that the items I was looking at were cheaper at PNS / more expensive at FreshChoice - I'm sure there would be some that worked.

On a side note: I can't seem to get FreshChoice to show up on GroSave - anyone else find that, or is it me doing something wrong?

  • Looks like you can order multiple times.
Be quick..this is for the first 10,000 users only. Not sure if it is 10,000 redemptions..

  • Ahahahaha… the delivery and service fee comes to $20 and even the discounted items have jacked up prices… 🤣

Edit: OK the fees aren't so bad from 4 square but they dont seem to have discounts on their overpriced items so…
