Isoprop Alcohol is a good buy

    • Omg… Thanks so much. I was literally looking for this just before. Do I just mix it with water to make it 70%?

        Yep, distilled though.
I use mine @ full concentration for cleaning electronics

Not sure if the price is back to normal, but Bunnings has 1 litre bottle with $19.75, which is cheaper than this one.

  • I ordered the epsom salts, you can buy by the kilogram which is great as it's usually sold in small quantities.

  • What else are people buying?

I want to order citric acid for the cleaning of coffee machine..
Is there something that's good for cleaning clothes or stains?

    • Sodium percarbonate - also known as Oxygen Bleach. It’s basically hydrogen peroxide in powder form. Add it to whites in the wash on 60 degree temperature.

      • Same active ingredient as Napisan.
I just buy it on special at the supermarket, Mitre 10 etc
Used it today to clean down a deck - works a treat and heaps cheaper than other cleaning solutions.

        • It’s nice to buy it on its own for laundry though. Napisan contains optical brighteners and other things that don’t wash out of your clothes well and end up yellowing them. Not an issue with pure sodium percarbonate. Don’t know why supermarkets don’t sell it on its own like they do in the US.

  • I usually buy the sodium percarbonate powder because it's cheaper than buying liquid bleach from the shops.

  • Love buying rosehip oil from them, use it on my face to help with dry skin, get about 4x the amount for the same price as the pharmacy.

  • Nice, will get some mineral oil for the chopping boards
