Ten Minutes of Legal Advice for $5 @ Barugh Law

330

Buy me a coffee, get 10 minutes of (written) legal advice. Black Friday repeat of my deal from last year. New business name, same good value.

Select the $5 consultation offer (no promo code this time - just a dropdown menu) and get some brief legal advice. If your legal question is pretty straightforward there is a good chance I'll be able to give you a decent answer, and perhaps point you in the direction of useful self-help resources to guide your next steps. For more complex questions I'll try to give a tentative answer but might not be able to comprehensively solve your problem.

A few things to note:

  • To get the most out of your 10 minutes, please try to ask a clear and specific question. A vague question will almost certainly get a vague answer.
  • I have a pretty busy workload right now, and so I'll likely be responding to these queries as and when little gaps in my day come up. If I get the same sort of interest in this deal as last time, please be patient as I work through each query (in reality I often spend more than 10 minutes responding, so it might be a little while before I can get back to you). I didn't set clear expectations on this last time, which I understand was frustrating for some folks - sorry.
  • If your question is genuinely urgent, flick me an email ([email protected]) after you submit the form and I'll see what I can do.
  • In addition to the normal limitation of liability in my terms of engagement, my liability to you in connection with any advice provided under this deal will be limited to the $5 you paid.
  • If I can't help you (e.g. if I have a conflict of interest) then I reserve the right to decline your request for advice (and will refund your $5).
This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals.

This is a really cool idea. Makes legal services accessable to many people who are terrified of the idea of contacting a lawyer.

Yep. Although for more complex wills I will often refer on to a lawyer who specialises in that area.

      • Cool, I might be in touch soon.
Everything very standard in this case.

Can I just pay you the $5 and keep you on retainer for the flex?

Nice to see the deal back again after the rebrand. Did you consider 'Barughster' instead of Barugh Law?

  • Oh, actually I'll do this, I have a good question that will probably be dead easy.

  • Great. Can you review a property LIM and see if there is anything alarming/concerning with the property.
I (not a lawyer) have read through the LIM and it seems pretty straightforward to me. Thx
