Panasonic 55 Inch 4K LED TV with Google TV & Chromecast $476 + Free Shipping @ Noel Leeming

330

Seems like a decent deal considering it comes with a free delivery

According to price me this also seems like the cheapest 55" Smart TV on the market at the moment

Also the ratings for this TV is just average so make sure you know what you are buying

Thanks OP, just grabbed one for my kids playroom to replace an older 42” which can now go in my garage so I have something to watch while I pretend to exercise.

Has to be a price error, right? The 43" version is only $7 cheaper.

      Buy now think later

might be stock that is slow to move they want to get rid of?

Could also be a special deal from the supplier. When I worked at an appliance store we'd sometimes get crazy cheap deals on particular TV models because they'd use unspent money from the marketing budget on discounting products.

Great deal if this turns out to be legit.

Listed here for cheaper (althought I assume when delivery if factored in makes it more expensive).

Great price for a decent branded 55" smart tv

    • TN55W70AGZ (magness) versus TN55W70BGZ (noels)

    • $471 including shipping and the magness one is a newer model

    • I think all TVs can display 50hz and 60hz content nowadays, that's just a hangover over PAL vs NTSC. Happy to be proven wrong.

  • Ahh ok didnt spot that.

  • Just to confirm, this is a TV with Google TV and Google Chromecast capability right? And not giving out a Chromecast device on top?
    Either way pretty good deal!

    • Build in I assume

  • Would the TV UI be as slow as my $400 hisense? The Hisense is extremely unreponsive to remote button presses

This is one reason why I use all smart TVs as a dumb TV. And just hooked up a Chromecast, Apple TV or similar streaming device.

      • Agree! This is for the parents who would probably get confused between two Google TV UIs (TV itself vs external device) since they'd look the same

    • My parents 2017 budget samsung tv was pretty ok never hangups or anything, I'd figure most chips these days would be faster, unless the tv has added bloat into the OS

Thank OP after a bit of reserach This TV seems more that able to replace my circa 2015 40" Philips LCD model.

    Absolute bargain delivered 😁

Watch out Panasonic now sells the rights of some models to a chinese company so make sure its not one those the build will look nasty if so

  • Just saw on Reddit that Panasonic are exiting the TV business in NZ so seems like there's a bit of a stock clearance going on.

Just bought their 77" Z90B OLED for $3499 with free shipping. Seems like a good price for a TV that is on a par performance with LG C5.
