I would like to get in before the people who say their orders don't track to mention all three of mine from the recent special tracked.

Followed the recommendations on Shopback and from other posters here:
    -empty Temu cart
    -disabled adblock on phone
-opened Temu through the Shopback app
-filled cart with >$35 for free shipping, <$50 for max cashback
-placed order through checkout, not one click purchase

All are showing tracked on Shopback. Have to wait until February till I can pull the cashback out. ~$150 purchase, ~$120 cashback.

Yup, it always works until it doesn't…

      • yep, until one day the account is broken and when temu adds a random coupon to your account.

Oh, yeah. Forgot "check no coupons have applied themselves". I had to clear some off.

I'm still on the fence until I actually see the money in my account. I was going to purchase the stuff anyway, so will be stoked if I get the refund but I'm not relying on it.

          • @Rlir: Plse advise where the "check no coupons have applied themselves" - is this on the Shopback app or on Temu?
            Thanks

Temu coupons - they sometimes appear as if out of the ether, without you doing anything (at least that you know of).

You need to remove them to be sure(r) that the cashback will work.

Personally, I have never seen a 'coupon' added by ShopBack, but perhaps that's a thing you have seen?

              • @Alan6984: If you have accidentally clicked on the spinning wheel or complained to the bot, you might get a bunch of coupons added to your account.
I got a feeling your account will be flagged and Temu can reject your future cashbacks.

                Someone can correct me.

I've never seen a spinning wheel on ShopBack, but I'll take your word for it - I probably wouldn't notice something that had the appearance of an ad.

    • Usually works for me but in that last round, it kept saying that the deal was for new users only when I got to Temu. Now waiting for ShopBack to fix it. Good thing about it being manually added is that it usually clears within a month (meaning I can withdraw it in December vs. the usual timeframe).

" it kept saying that the deal was for new users only when I got to Temu."

        It always says that IIRC

        • Interesting. That's the first time I had seen it. Good to know though. Thanks.

  • Likewise always says new users even when promo says current members. Also cash back owes me a lot from Accor Hotel bookings - they track fine but always track at $0 then don’t chang the vale when it’s should be 4 or 8% or most never payout which is a real shame.

Pretty sure the temu new users message is probably temu applying a voucher you can't use and not shopback doing anything.

  • Temu is currently listed as 50% ending midday today(monday)
