  • Is there a way to stop over in Taiwan for 1-2 weeks as part of these deals?

    • +1

well, China Southern flies via Guangzhou, so not easily. More likely with the China Airlines deals, if you play around with the layover sliders, or try two one way tickets, or a return to Taiwan and a retuen from Taiwan to Japan. Tricky tho :/

  • This is interesting to see. My flight to Japan transiting Beijing was cancelled two days ago. Very disappointing. No offer to rebook to another day - just cancelled the leg from Beijing to Japan.
It was at the same time as the whole China Japan debacle. Saw on news that hundred of thousands ticket was cancelled, and I assumed my flight got cancelled due to lack of passengers.
I ended up having to rebooked with another airline pretty short booking that almost cost me double. But I have to get there, so no choice really.
