Get 2x DeWALT 5.0Ah Batteries for Free ($394 Value) with Purchase of Selected Skins (DeWALT 18V XR Heat Gun $244) @ Bunnings

70

Buy a range of Dewalt skins and get 2 free batteries
1st battery is an instant bonus at point of sale.
2nd battery is via redemption

This deal is across most (all?) dewalt retailers. I have used Bunnings as they are generally the cheapest.
But with some digging you can potentially find cheaper prices.

I believe the heat gun will be the cheapest if you are doing this deal just to get the batteries.

There is also an LED light at $249

  • The battery powered heat gun is really weak according to reviews. An 18V heat gun is just not powerful enough to do most tasks, eg. strip paint.

I think the deal is "get two batteries cheap with this cool trick"

Good for anyone already in the DeWalt ecosystem but I wouldn't suggest anyone follow through who isn't already using DeWalt.

Yup I'm just talking about the heat gun specifically. I have their 1000 lumen hand held work light and it's quite handy so the 2000 lumen light would be a better option.

  • wow the batteries are almost $200 each

  • Just brought a DeWalt Cordless Framing Nailer 18V - came with two batteries and a Bluetooth work radio= $800.. selling the batteries and the radio should clear $400.

  • I use this to manipulate 3d printed parts. Works wonder, just perfect heat.

However, have too many dewalt batteries. Need more Makitas…

Bunnings sells a 2 pack of these batteries for $295. Sorry to be pedantic OP, but that's not $394 value.

Still not a bad saving, $244 for two batteries and a free heat gun. :D
