Ryobi 18V ONE+ Twin 4Ah & 2Ah Starter Kit $169, Compact Scrubber 2Ah Kit with Brushes $189 @ Ryobi / Bunnings

170

A few good deals to be had.

Couldn't find all products on Bunnings so some may be instore only deals. Have included Ryobi links for that reason. Where Bunnings showed them on the promo page, link is included.

I grabbed the battery pack, 3 batteries + charger for $169.
I have the extended length version of the scrubber already so didn't grab that deal, but I rate it for cleaning jobs around the house. Shower glass, tiling, gutters, windows (all using the appropriate head).

Battery kit - great deal 4ah + 4ah + 2ah + 2A charger.

Other deals that are IMO nothing special, but if you need the tool, it comes with battery and charger.

I think the battery kit deal appears to the be the only great deal that stands out. Cheers OP

    • Yeah that's the best deal with such a low price. Can finally run matched batteries in my scarifier. I use my scrubber a lot though so still rate that one.

  • I picked up the scrubber kit. Would have preferred the telescopic version, but getting all three brushes and a battery was a good deal for $11 more than the skin + 1 brush alone.

Tired of manually scrubbing the shower cubicle. I can probably use it on my car floor mats too.

    • Are the brushes ok for tiles and glass in the shower?

      • The blue one is super soft, it's what I used on my windows and shower door. On each box for the brushes it shows you the surfaces to use it on. I think I used lime green / yellow on my tiles as they needed a bit of work first time. For the windows I just rinsed them with hose and dipped the scruffer head in a bucket of water spinning frequently to rinse of any dirt on the head. Shower was easier as I just did it with the shower running since it's all waterproof.

      • Can use the soft brush as Fragluton said, but they're just nylon brushes, I wouldn't think they would be harder than glass to be ables to scratch it. I'm not too sure about tiles, but online reviews show people doing it without problems. Our shower is pretty old so I don't really care too much.

  • no lawn mower :(

    • How big is your lawn?
I've had this one four years now for my 100sqm lawn, could easily mow it a couple of times with the 4ah in this kit

      • the 36v one that comes with mine only allows mine to mow 20-30 mins sometimes it runs out of juice before i get the whole yard done. should have gotten the 18v range so i could reuse my batteries

  • I see a small discount on the scrubber on powerpass (I think I have the assetlabs).
    $184.28

Just be wary they can consider that business use come warranty time. I forget the outcome last time the issue arised.

Last time I fired up the app it said I had two uses left without putting my email in or they would disable the app. Had that happen?

      • I've not had an issue at all and I've had to warranty a lot of Ryobi tools, no questions asked.

        • Sweet, good to know

  • Sadly none of these look to be on their top tier brushless options.

The battery pack is a good buy, but yeah would be good to see some options for brushless gear.

  • Anyone spotted a deal on pole pruner?

  • Considering 1x 4.0a battery is $150 just by itself, the battery deal is pretty damn good

  • Had a break in when wrapping up my last rental annoyingly they got my two batteries and drill. This deal has come at the perfect time!

  • Thanks heaps for sharing this deal. I had bought 2x 5Ah batteries for $209 in October 2020, and these have finally started failing on me (dying at 3/4 charge) so this battery deal is so good and picked them up today. Cheers! 🍻

Isn't the power tool kit for 279 the best deal? Sure it's one less 4aH battery, but instead you get all those tools for 110 bucks extra.

    • I think the tools from that set are using brushed motors?

    • Yes! This was the better deal in my opinion. I won't have any trouble selling the tools and the charger for at least $250, perhaps even more. So essentially I have scored some free batteries with this purchase.

  • No batteries left in Bunnings.

  • Ordered the battery deal for delivery late last night. Thanks OP

  • I haven't checked them all, but I can still purchase these deals for delivery (free) on the ones I checked.

So not expired at the time of this message.

    • The 2 main deals are gone. The scrubber kit isnt listed anymore and theres no stock of the battery kit. My order was cancelled earlier today and i just saw someone else on cheapies mention their battery kit got cancelled too. Didn't even get an email from bunnings. Just saw it was refunded on my card.

      • my battery kit got cancelled as well yesterday

  • Ah I see. Ordered the 5 piece set last night, no cancellation yet. Battery set was also showing available for me. I guess these things depend which store they are coming from. For me, it's Te Rapa, Hamilton.
