  • Is it any good ? Seems very cheap for a good reasonable tv. Also. Any promo codes that can be used ? I remember warehouse always had some codes to use. Not keen to pay for shipping

    • It's been a long time since the multi user free shipping codes.
These days you might occasionally receive a code for an incomplete order but they are all one-use codes so unlikely to be shared.
Also, this is an oversize product which would have still incurred a shipping cost anyway.

No idea if the TV is any good.

      • It's at a price point I'd expect on sale at this point.

The non Veon (whatever the "next step up" current sticker brand may be, JVC possibly) 58 was selling for $800 or so in special two years ago. The 56 version was about the same price a couple of years prior to that.

Is it ok? Prob average. I'd assume a slowish UI. But that's going to be pretty consistent accross all screens at the $1500 and under or so price point. I wouldn't worry unless you are a AV snob. You'd be amazed at how many homes I visit where the screen has major issues that no-one notices (bright spots, one was entirely blue tinted! - cause they were old FYI)

Will it last? Well unless the Warehouse go under you can CGA any issues it may have within the next three or so years with a little push from you and a little pushback from them without much hassle. Prob up to five I'd you want to push a bit harder (no, you shouldn't have to). Want to guess how I know about what those screens cost every 2-3 years? ;)

I'm not complaining, I've got a full refund and bought the similar screen each time - usually saving $100-200 on the original cost, and got a better, larger screen. Once more replacement and they have basically been paying me to take their screens (seriously - they gave me full retail on a screen I got on special last time for some reason)
