  • Lawn Mowers are out of stock in Auckland
Looks like all items are collect only (no delivery)

  • I dont expect much performance but anybody own on of those lawnmower?

  • Bought a few things, anyone knows if there is an adapter from any other major power tool brand batteries to this “Briggs & Stratton” batteries?

Looks like a Victa battery but haven't come across an adapter

Thanks they are Victa batteries, now to find an adapter. I wish they sold batteries separately at Warehouse

  • Doesn't look like anything is in stock anymore.

Seems that snapper is a zombie brand that is being bought back for low spec stuff like happens to so many others.

Picked up a few items from Masterton, can confirm that the line trimmer is identical to a Victa one I got a few years back and same battery charger. Got one of the chainsaw skins with 10 inch bar for $29.40, so even if it’s bad it’s still good at that price. Also got the performance line trimmer for $29.40 as well, supposedly a brushless motor on that so that will be interesting to see if it really is.

Bit of an update, so I grabbed 5 in total, 1 kit - Pruning saw, 4 skins - Chainsaw, Pressure Washer Hand Gun, Performance Line trimmer and Long Reach Combo.
I've had a play with the pruning saw, chainsaw and pressure washer so far. All made in 2022 so based on what I found it, Snapper is a Briggs and Stratton's electric range and this must be its failed 18v range as all there stuff overseas is 82v.
The quality so far is not to bad, the chainsaw is gutless, but cut through a stump that was about 20cm in diameter just took its sweet time so no complaints for $29.40.
The pressure washer worked nicely out of bucket and had enough pressure to hurt my foot when I hit it so should be fine for washing a car, outdoor furniture etc but not expect too much from a hand held pressure washer, again also $29.40
Pruning saw did exactly what you would expect, cut small branches. In my opinion not to bad for $59.40 but that included 4AH battery and charger.

  • Grabbed the lawnmower from whitianga warehouse today. Will be good for the Bach where we have a smallish fescue lawn.

For anyone buying tools, I'd suggest stocking up on batteries now.

I've had Mako tools in the past and The Warehouse changed their battery connection every time someone sneezed on top of their batteries being complete trash, so at one point I had three Mako 18V tools that took three different batteries that not only didn't fit each other, but none of them worked anymore anyway.

Presently I'm working on a 3D printable adapter for Ozito batteries to the Mako tools I kept (worklights and an impact driver) as it seems a waste to just toss them out and (profanity) if I'm going to spend $60 on another trash battery of theirs but only when I have time.

If they're dropping the price on the tools then undoubtedly they're about to either burn them or run another line with completely different batteries that don't fit the existing tools but have the same brand.

    • Good tip. Looks like they don't sell the batteries separately.
Reading the comments, but I'm not 100% sure.
Are either the Briggs & Stratton or Victa 18v battery directly compatible? Or do they need an adapter (as they available?)
