Decent price for a good running shoe.
Was confused by what the difference between the normal and "Luxe" version was, The regular version has the logo silkscreened on to the shoe, the luxe version it is rubber/plasticish and glued on. While the upper is a jacquard mesh, the one on the luxe feels thicker and more durable says someone on reddit.

i live at christchurch hornby , and we have a mall called dress smart, every now and then they have discount on clearance items which are already heavily marked down , and some are odd pairs , + there are specials as well and if you are not fussy about color or patten , you can easily score a running shoes from 30 $ to 80 $ i got many are around 50 ish $ , i got new balance 992 made in usa for 50 $ fresh foam for 50 $ they have deals on Asics puma and adidas , other brands are also there but they dont seem to have deep discounts , and yes you can try different sizes and width, neutral or overpronation, underpronation etc
I assume the Dresssmart in Onehunga probably have the same deals as well. There might be the odd occassion when well-reviewed running shoes get deep discounts, but doesn't happen that often. There were some good ones at NB about a month ago when I saw Rebel v4 and SC Elite v3 in limited sizes for $50.
Same with Manawa Bay at the airport
