Usually $19.59 (South Island) or $17.50 (North Island), good price for Jasmine rice.
Stock up on ammo, wedding season is fast approaching.

They are both correct as you're comparing two different versions of the mailer / website.
South Island - $10 save $9.59
North Island - $10 save $7.50
Makes sense that I'd be logged into my account looking at the SI mailer, then between the time it took for me to write up the deal and post it the website logged me for out for some reason and switched me to NI so when I clicked the link on here to make sure it worked ok it took me to Glenfield instead of the Central Dunedin store.

It's really peculiar that it keeps on defaulting to glenfield every time I log in as well.
I just don't think it likes Dunedin! #Dunners
@Dan Baker: FWIW, I live in Auckland, though nowhere near Glenfield, and that's where it defaults me to as well 🤷♂️
Oh yeah anytime I go to the website not logged it, defaults to Glenfield too. I'm in chch
Nice! I'll pop in and buy a bag or two - we're still working through the ten bags of 2kg brown rice we bought last deal!

I just bought 5 bags of jasmine, had a boost for 1000 points when spending $50, so $7.50 worth of points essentially brings them down to $8.50 a bag.
The only time I shop at Woolworths is when I have a boost I can use with something that's on special, it's the only time that they work out cheaper than P'n'S in Dunedin most of the time.
Yes, pretty much on the same page.
Slightly off-center question but how do you (correctly) store large quantities of rice? Especially for a household that doesn't go through it super fast
seal and store them in the fridge.
Must be a huge fridge
I prefer not to put white rice in fridge. Sealing alone is sufficient. 5 years, no problem.
Brown can be placed in the fridge if it's sealed, which increases shelf life from 6 to 12 months.
If brown is unsealed and put in fridge, it creates moisture and ruins the rice.
Keep them in a Sistema container big enough to bury phones.
How long are we talking about here? Up to 6 months or maybe even a year (climate dependent) I'd be comfortable keeping them in a dark solid container (to protect against rodents and light) in a cool environment(doesn't have to be a fridge). Longer than that I'd look at vacuum sealing and better temperature/humidity controls, and getting them out of the plastic bags they come in (those sorts of plastic bags outgas and degrade into food)
thank you got some as we go though thiss stuff a lot
Website and mailer have different full prices, mailer says these are usually from $19.59, website says they're usually $17.50 and you're saving $7.50.
