  • Might need a bit more info OP because that title seems a bit misleading

    • It says this on the new iPhone product pages. Also one of the sales guys told me this instore. What other info do I need to add?

      • Ph price.

Wow didnt realize some were over 4000 now

        • Yeah their storage prices are crazy

      • It’s fine. Standard extras though: if you cancel the plan early you pay the diff etc

  • +1

This is the same as what 2degrees offer on their website. Though they seem to be out of stock of everything. In the T&C there it says a minimum of 12 months else you will need to repay the discount.

    Some quick math:

12 months with this 'deal' through 2 degrees for a base 17 pro:
    2349 - 700 + 6 * 80/2 + 6 * 80 = $2369

And you get 12 months of unlimited data/calls/texts

So, this is a decent deal IF you were going to get a new iphone anyway. Particularly if you already are on a monthly plan (not with 2 degrees) already, or paying $$ for a unlimited prepay deal. Just make sure to cancel the plan after 12 months.

It's a shame you can't get this deal if you already are a 2degrees monthly customer.

As a side note, their trade in prices seem a bit poor this year compared to 2nd hand market values. Spark and one NZ seem a bit better. In the past 2degrees were very good with their large trade in boosts.

  • I got the iPhone 17 Pro Max with this deal, I have unlimited data from my work, so I sold my 2degrees unlimited sim card to my friend for $250. I get a discount off my phone, and my friend gets cheap unlimited data for the year. It's a win win.

    • But who pays the monthly plan?

      • I pay the monthly plan, still works out to be a discount of like $220~ off the phone

  • Where does it say existing customers? I can't find the T&Cs on their site, and the blurb on the page only says new customers.
