Hi all just wondering if there are still any meal kit companies doing a free trial box where you just pay for shipping? HelloFresh used to have deals like that, but I’m not sure if they still do or if there are any new ones around.

iirc hellofresh signup offer might have been free if it was a 2 person 3 meals box or something back in the day. These days 50% off bargainbox/hellofresh is likely the best you will see.
iirc hellofresh has launched a saver plan which is $7 per portion so $140 for 4 meals/5nights/$70+shipping with a 50% off code but I imagine several of the meals might be vegetarian etc to keep costs lower

My referral page says that I can give away a 'free box', but it doesn't include anything more specific (unless I missed it).
I'm guessing that, depending on what code you get from the CC referral system, you might get a free box, $100 off, 50% off, or something else.
The 'free box' is up to a certain value(ie it will allow a free 2 person 3 meals but not 4 person 5 meals), open your link incognito browsing and try yourself.

Don't know if it's dependent on the referrer for quantity of meals/people, but the first link I clicked offers a free 2 meal box for 2 people, only cover shipping.
Not directly a free box, but hello fresh often has 100% cash back on shopback $40/45 limit for new accounts, with the first week discount it can get very cheap.

I just checked my account, and HelloFresh appear to be doing it right now. My account says you would get a free box, whereas this site says you would get $100 credit, so I guess it might depend on the code you get given.
As per site etiquette, you can use the referral system here to get a code rather than me (or anyone) posting a code. I can, of course, hope that you randomly get my code :-)
