  I got it setup and noticed that I am getting 3G for data in my area (Auckland suburb). Anyone else getting 3G signals instead of 4G?

    I also encountered this and what worked for me on the iPhone is to set the mobile data settings to LTE instead of 5G Auto.

    Would be interested to know this too. Maybe if you have 2 google accounts or Apple IDs it would work? I’m out of data in NZ till the 11th but also going to Aus/South Pacific once or twice in a few months. Wondering if I should save it for that

    You can buy physical esim things that can be used in other non esim devices. We just used esims while stopping over in the us and Canada and it made life far easier. No messing about just turn on the rain and load it up and yours away.

    There's a great thread in hot UK deals about esims and all the deals their users have found. We used a couple of these to set us up for our trip for just a few dollars each stop.
