Creality Ender-PLA 1.75mm Black PLA Prototyping Filament 1kg Roll $11.90 + Delivery / $0 C&C @ Jaycar

190

I'm not sure what "prototyping filament" is, but this appears to be a pretty good price for basic PLA. Reviews appear to be ok.

Overview

This filamant is from a recognised manufacturer and is so cheap you can use it for everyday Protoyping without breaking the bank.

It is PLA so will not run well at high speeds but is well suited to slower speed printing.

Creality Ender-PLA filaments are suitable to use on your FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printer with little to no change to your regular PLA settings.

PLA (modified PolyLactic Acid) is extracted and purified from corn grain for an environmentally friendly composition. It is low odour and users report a slight, sweet aroma while printing.

Biological Material, Environmental Friendly

They used to be $17.90 each, also don't know what do they mean by "prototyping", recent reviews seem good will get a few.

Bought some for $18 a few weeks ago since it was the cheapest locally without having to wait for a delivery, Been great - noticed no lower quality than any other mainstream PLA. Will defs be getting a few more rolls at this price.

  • Won't let me have it delivered? But I can click and collect apparently. But the stores aren't near me…

I had the same issue. discovered black in cart caused it. white or grey was ok.

      • Oh yes it is just the black one causing issues. Thanks

      • Oh wow this was driving me mental. Thanks.

  • $12 is insanely good. Bought a bunch.

Ordered 10 for click and collect and they say its ready for collection so will go get it tomorrow. I have had no problems with this in the past and had bought it at the normal price because its one of the cheapest around that you can pickup from a store when you realise that you're out of filament on a weekend.

  • Bought 3 xblack 3 xwhite and 3x grey, very happy. Used it before with zero issues on a X1 Carbon.

  • Cheers, bought 2 for pick up. Couldn't use my ASB debit card for some reason, had to use my Kiwibank card.

  • Jaycar have up to 50% off a whole range of filament https://www.jaycar.co.nz/c/diy-workbench-sale-nz-aug25?categ…

    • There are some really prices on eSun, Creality, Protech filament too. Bought a couple of rolls of the tri-colour Protech filament the kids and they love it.

  • does increasing the print speed effect the quality of print? These seem to have recommended 50mm/s. Would printing at 200-300mm/s on a P1S affect quality?
