  • Make sure you use code DATVFLASH07 as mentioned in the post. On the samsung site the coupon code it pops up with HAJUNE25 shows as invalid in cart. The code appears to work on more than just TVs.

  • Any other vouchers that might stack up with Front-load Washer?

Here is my usual warning against Samsung fridges.

    AVOID SAMSUNG FRIDGES.

    • Are they still that bad years later? No improvement?

I had a Samsung fridge from 5 years ago and all the plastic inside started cracking, crumpling and falling off. Not just one shelf, but all of them.

Samsung support, customer service didn't want to have anything to do with it despite escalating it to their senior advisors.

Hence I'm always warning against their fridges.

        • While it's from 5yrs ago, 2020 is still far too recent for that still to be happening. That sounds like similar stories ive read ages back.

    • Sales person at Harvey Norman steered me away from SAMSUNG Washing machines. She bought one herself and it totally shredded her clothing to pieces from a faulty drum.

    • ours from 2012 is still going strong without any issues at all

  • My samsung fridge only lasted under 7 years which seems to be a bit short. But it was an entry level fridge and was a lot cheaper ( around $800) when compare to other brands so I was ok with it. Having said that, I would probably choose a different brand if I had to spend over $1000 on fridge.

Any views on the QEF1? It doesn't appear to be on rtings.com

    • I am keen to hear what you all think about the QEF1 as well.. I impulsively ordered one yesterday thanks to a hefty 54% off work discount I got. Figured it was time to retire my ancient 10 years old 40” TV !
