Got same issue.
Sign out and sign in again fixed it to me.Will do that thank you
This is the Timezone deal worth waiting for.
Oops! Something went wrong.
I logged out then back in, still the same. Weirdly, I received the email but it said it was expired.Just keep repeating steps 3-5. I had to try 3 times before it worked, the first 2 attempts said Oops! Something went wrong. I didn't do anything different on the 3rd attempt to get it to work and I did not need to log out/in.
I've never been able to create an account because the verification code via OTP never comes through. Am on Kogan. Anyone with the same issue?
Works for me with Kogan
Thanks OP! Had to sign out and sign back in to get it to work.
Is this a good deal? I haven't been to Timezone in years so just keen to know
Gah just got their double dollars deal. But this one is the best. We especially like the massive claw game where you can pick up the large circles with different ticket values on them. We spent probably $50 on this one and got over 5000 tickets at Botany. That's $50 of the $120 - we paid $40 for.
I mean, do what you like doing, but bear in kind that these and pretty much every other prize or "skill" game is 100% rigged. You are really gambling on whther your turn will be the 1 in 20(and far more) where the claw actuay recieves full power (and not just enoigh to get the empty claw to close and no more).
Literally a setting in the machines that the operator can use to choose how often things get won.
There are some great videos on youtube that will show you exactlymhow each sprt of game is rigged.
The only one that wasnt i am aware id was the old "20c" coin roll - I could win the jackpot on this everytime with a dollar. Probably why the took them away.
Crossy Road not rigged from my experience. I can easily win the 500 jackpot without fail as long as the threshold is 160/170 or under.
I've worked at games arcades before so I know how they work. Inside the machines is a dial which decides how tight or loose the claw grips. The one I am referring to picks up the large circles almost every time as long as you have the technique (positioning and getting multiples) right. So we spent less than $20 and got a toy that would cost over $60 in store. Good deal to me.
Sweet. Wifey likes the mini ten pin bowling game. First time she played threw the ball at the screen instead of the lane trying to knock down the digital pins on the screen. Made a loud thud but no damage :)
Ditto. At $10 a game but effective $3.33 if using triple up credit its a nice outing.
Logout and re-login not working. Trick is don't copy the code from here and type the code yourself.
I had to click ok 5-6 times as it kept saying the server was busy..
Any word on how long the credit lasts before it expires? I'm not a regular Timezoner but if the credit lasts for a while I might still go for it.
Credit lasts 12 months from date of 'last use'
Last Use = Using your Powercard in a venue to play games, load credit or redeem prizes. They usually give out free credits a few times a year, so if you redeem them each time and spend some, they probably won’t expire? Don’t forget to claim the new member $10 too.
Is there 2 distribute the credit around to others?
Are there pinball machines anywhere?
I went into Botany a few months ago and couldn't find one :-(
From memory Nelson has Aerosmith.
Henderson has the Munsters pinball
Botany used to have some kind of Black Knight table a year or two ago. Hiding in a corner towards the back right as you come in. Maybe they took it away
Courtenay Place had Star Wars up until recently but unfortunately took it away :(
Just to check, you can only get the Load $40 for $120 Credit when you redeem the $20 voucher in store?
Yes you have to do it in store and it's either load $40 or free $20, you can only pick one
