Russell Hobbs Brooklyn 5.7L AirFryer $89 + Shipping/C&C ($0 in-Store) @ Briscoes

30

It's the lowest Price I have ever seen, been on special for $99 a few times.
Could be a end of life model they are trying to get rid off.

2 year warranty sounds assuring it's decent quality.

Thank you for posting OP, tempted but some of the reviews on the Briscoes site are pretty brutal haha.

We bought one and regretted it! Although the dishwasher friendly basket is good in theory, the coating came off from using dishwasher to clean it! The basket also doesnt slide in easily, and it also just stopped working recently (bought maybe 2 years ago?)

We bought this to replace our old Kmart one (still available for $99) which we ended up keeping also.. this is still going strong after way longer and way more use.

Thanks bigcheese! You're a good guy!

  • I’ve had one. It wasn’t too bad, think it lasted over 3 years of more than daily use.

The coating came off pretty quickly - so had to use tinfoil or liners.

Size was decent - could easily roast a chicken

Worth it for the price imo! I think I paid $150 last time.

The first iteration came with the basket clipped inside the outside tray. This would unclip randomly when you moved it, dropping your freshly cooked roast chicken and it's juices all over you and the floor.

And yes the second generation coating came off for me within a month. Hand wash only. Then the buttons stopped responding properly, so into the trash it went.

  • Use baking paper if buying otherwise it's telfon flakes on your food. Got 2 of these before. One died just before 2 year warranty then the replacement died again after 1.5 years. 2nd time died about 1.5 years so I opted for refund that time then bought a Philips one.
