Normally get ours from Trade Depot, the Power Flash brand, but these tech inc ones from Noel Leeming are slightly cheaper now (only by a little bit).

Can anybody speak to the quality of the tech inc ones, how long they last?

A lot of batteries included and was happy with the price, however these batteries are not worth installing into your devices. They do not last long, the large packs from bunnings last for weeks, while these last overnight in a casio piano.
Were they belting chopsticks all night on that casio?
Hard to argue with the price.
All my batteries are rechargeable now, which costs more in the short term, but means i'm not dumping batteries all the time.
Yeah i slowly did that whenever enneloops came on special, finally got the point where i have more batteries than needed.
Aliexpress has rechargeable USB-C batteries. I bought 12 of each size some years ago and never needed more.
Worth just buying the usb rechargeable batteries in NZ when they go on sale as they do have faults often, e.g. the charging port stops working. You'll pay a very small premium to buy in NZ but you'll get a warranty.
Pretty sure I got the 4 pack AA Pale blue ones for about $23 from PBTech about a year ago
I bought this one last black friday for 14 dollars, i mostly use on the thomas trains, as we have like about 10 of them, i don't think it worth for my eneloops. Last week, all of them just finished, so they just last for about 6 months. We don't play the train that much, but at least every week, but sometimes they are left not turning off for quite a while. I don't feel its quality is bad for now.
