Yet another weird pricing discrepancy between the retailers ive seen for games recently..
JB hifi(jbhifi.co.nz) and mightyape(mightyape.co.nz) have matched the prices on their sites, but on the playstation store(store.playstation.com) and EB Games(ebgames.co.nz) its $139.
its odd, but something to point out.

Buy it from Mightyape tomorrow with shopback 25% cashback instead if they allow preorders
https://www.cheapies.nz/node/51774This is not even a deal, it's normal pricing and cheaper at other stores ($108 at heathcotes).
This is normal pricing isn't it? When was the last time a big new release AAA (non sporting or multiplayer focused) game released that was cheaper to buy digitally than it was from JB, NL, MA etc? I'm sure it's happened but it's not the norm, for years new releases have nearly always been around 20% cheaper to buy physically upon release from the usual stores than they've been to buy digitally from PSN, Xbox, Steam. It makes no sense I know, you'd think it would be the other way around, but here we are.
As for EB, it's standard for them as well to usually sell new releases at their RRP instead of discounting them like other retailers, they will price match other retailers prices, but the price on the shelf and all advertising will be nearly always be the full rrp, it probably has to do with their trade in system/scam thing they run. If you're offering a new release game for $59 when you trade in 2 games it sounds a lot better to the customers/victims trading in their games if the game they're getting for $59 was originally $130 than it would if they were looking at it for $99 on the shelf and realizing they're getting next to nothing for their trade-ins.
