Cheapest Place to Buy a OnePlus 12?

Heard some good things about this phone and wondering if it's worth it to try AliExpress or something like Taobao for a reduced price.
Thanks in advance for any help πŸ™.

(Maybe it's not the very same model, but it's not a big deal to just take a look, is it…)

Dono where from, Europe, Spain πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Έ perhaps…)

If you have an option to purchase the model u're looking for at the taobao trading platform then there's no need to go elsewhere, I believe. They can give you the best price, that's for sure, trust me.

(Though I used to think it might be pretty tricky to place orders there if you do not have a China mobile number in your pockets and don't have or cannot create an account of your own there etc… πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ
If it's not a problem for you then you'd better stay by taobao mate.)

Whether you are struggling to place an order at taobao then the second place I personally would turn to for the purpose is AliExpress, certainly. Not bad pricing too, free shipping, pretty fast delivery nowadays, but: bloody GST applies… 😏

However, I would strongly recommend u to do the comparison for the pricing of this smartphoneπŸ“±. And if it's available here in NZ and the price is not cosmic (πŸ†š taobao's and/or AliExpress's ones) then maybe it does make a sense to buy it here due to the warranty matters, cuz β‰ˆ1k bucks for a phoneπŸ“±β€” not a joke (for me 😁) … πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

Good luck with your purchase mate! πŸ‘πŸ»

(Hope u know how to modify the links above… 😏)

I don't really mind. Dude obviously has spent time and effort in that post let's just be supportive rather than nitpicking on emojis usage.

    • Hi Julio,

Would you know what the difference is between a phone say: Xiaomi Note 14 Pro+ Chinese Version and Global Version?
I assume the Hardware is the same, and the difference is in Software?
i.e does buying a phone from Taobao (China Version) come with Google Services or be able to install google services? or would you need to get the Phone unlocked?

      Thanks :)

      • Hey mate,

Wish I could help you out with the issue, but I do believe I'm very wrong person to ask.

        Here's the link my man:

        http s: //versus.com/en/xiaomi-redmi-note-14-pro-plus-vs-xiaomi-redmi-note-14-pro-plus-5g-global-256gb-8gb-ram

This website can be pretty helpful in such things, tbh. These guys do a fantastic job for everybody in terms of comparison a good range of electronic gadgets.

Take a quick look and I think you won't be able to find huge differences between those two models. Though the global version is a bit more expensive and has a bit higher score rate.

As for the software / hardware of the Chinese version, so, I suppose there will be minor differences too. If only you'll have to ask the seller (let's say at taobao) to unlock it and /or to install Google services separately, meaning themselves before shipping it to NZ.

Anyway, I would strongly suggest your talking to the store men at taobao / AliExpress and discussing all the features of the phone before you purchase it.

Otherwise I personally would buy just a global version for a peace of mind, if u know what I mean… 😏

        Cheers! πŸ‘‹πŸ»

    • What’s with the links

      • Simply copy the whole text (just don't touch any "https", any "//" & any "www.") and paste it in your browser search field. Must work.

Did that way on purpose, cuz cheapies normally blocks usual links (or I've just got no clue how to place them here properly for them not to be banned, sorry).

        Cheers…
