I understand FHD provides enough clarity on a 24"?

Yep FHD will be fine for 24", if you go higher then that it doesnt look too great, so avoid 27" and above

      • Thanks, ordered one for work.

    • 24 inch is good for 1080p

Most people can't tell the difference between 1080 and 4K on large screen from a metre away. I would t be worried on something this size.

(Lots of people think they can - but I install really big screens and test them with 1080 at the most - and have plenty of people go on about how great the 4k looks!)

PSA: I bought Kogan screens before, a 27" one. Their quality is not the best, I found dead pixels on multiple units they sent.

    • Thank you, that's very useful to know.

    • i have had a kogan 55inch 4k tv for 5 years without any problems no dead pixels and friend is using a 24inch kogan monitor for 3 years without problems

    • I have had very bad backlight bleed on the kogan TVs I have bought. The use case didnt matter as it was just to watch security cameras on

If I had got a monitor that was that bad it would be going straight back.

      • Bright side, I requested a replacement, they sent it, the replacement was faulty, so I requested a second one. On the second request they made me post the faulty one to a technician which I did at their cost. Then the third one was faulty too so I ended up returning and getting a full refund but they forgot about the very first screen they sent so I ended up getting a 27" with one dead pixel for free, which is not bad at all.
