Alternate for iPhone 15 Pro

Hello Everyone,

I am new here, I need your suggestions what should I do.

Currently, I am using the iPhone 15 Pro, working completely fine and I am happy with it. However, I have to buy another smartphone for my wife.

Now, not in the position to spend above, I was thinking if I could trade in my iPhone and go for the Samsung S24 FE and any of Samsung A series.

What do you suggest and what other options I can go for if not Samsung devices.

  • Unfortunately you've just missed some amazing trade in deals from Samsung, but with the release of the S25 series in a couple of weeks this page would probably be worth subscribing to:

  • Hello! Rather than trade in I suggest you sell your iphone on Trade Me then use the funds to get 2x older iphones. The Iphone 13 holds up well even though it is an older model, and is going for $1k on PB Tech.

There will always be some value loss in selling your phone, so I would personally hold on to the 15 pro and get an older phone for the wife (someone you know probably has one in a sock drawer they could loan you) until I could save enough to get an iphone that'll last the next few years.

  • +1

get an older iphone for her so you can use the services seamless.

  • I would wait till End of Jan. Once S25 is announced, the prices for S24 might go down further.
I have recently gifted a A55 to a friend and it is amazing, if your wife doesn't game. The quality and feel is really good. EPP stoes will have it around 600.

  • 2025 is gonna be a great year for phone upgrades mainly due to major CPU (snapdragon 8 elite) as well as battery (silicon-carbon anode batteries with 6000mah capacity) breakthrough

Just wait one or two month if you can, either Samsung or Oppo/Xiaomi might have something soon.

  • iphone 13s are usually around $850, might be a good option?

I'd steer clear of 11's and SE's now, they're getting a bit long in the tooth.

    • and many apps are falling off not being supported.
